Yeghishe Charents House-Museum was founded in 1964. 1935-1937 of the famous Armenian poet of the 20th century. lived in an apartment. It was opened in 1975. in January. Today, the museum covers an area of ​​575 square meters, the memorial part has been restored, and the other three floors are occupied by the main exhibition. The house-museum is a scientific center for the study of the poet’s life, work, national and social activities. The museum preserves relics and materials related to the Charents man, citizen, great poet, translator, publisher, which reached us in total number of 17 thousand. The main fund includes 7760 museum specimens. One of the cherished parts of the museum is the memorial hall, with a delicate and elegant combination of Eastern and European arts, where the personal library of the poet is of great value.
