Museum of Hovhannes Tumanyan

This is the museum of the greatest Armenian humanist, writer, translator, storyteller. The wise soul of Tumanyan lives in this mysterious place, everything is in the field of view of his all-seeing eye. To find yourself here, you need to come to Moskovyan 40 and climb 54 steps. Overcoming them can seem tedious. But as soon as you find out what this number symbolizes, your fatigue will give way to excitement, because the great poet lived for so many years. Evidence of the past will tell you about these short, but endlessly eventful years: documents, letters, photographs, personal items that are carefully stored in the museum. But one should not perceive them only as frozen images of a life long past. Here the past breathes, becomes present and helps to see the future. This past, overshadowed by the wisdom and greatness of Tumanyan’s spirit, changes us, makes us kinder, fairer, bolder, helps us find our true identity, identity and become a citizen of the world.
