Description

The house-museum of Alexander Spendiaryan was established in 1963 by the decision of the Chairman of the Council of Ministers Anton Kochinyan on November 21 N491, at 23 Nalbandian Street /now 21/, in the house where the composer lived in the last years of his life, 1926-1928.
Opened on November 25, 1967. It is the first museum in Armenia dedicated to the musician. The founder is Marina Spendiarova, daughter of the composer, and the founding director is composer Vladilen Balyan.
